CARDS AND READERS
2000-bit programmable memory
The 13.56 MHz access control cards and readers are compliant with the ISO 15693 vicinity card standard offering increased security and authentication, at-the-door read-write programmability, interoperability across all suppliers and applications and multiple card-reading capability. The supplier's cards and badges provide a factory-programmed ID that cannot be duplicated, more than 2000 bits of data and hold 30 times more data than traditional 125 kHz solutions. The data is written and stored on the card, independent of a host system. The readers have a read range 40 percent longer than traditional systems. The readers create a multi-card read zone, eliminating read interference.
Features: compatible with RS-485 communications protocol, Wiegand-compliant and available in a wall plate or mullion option.

HIGH-FREQUENCY READERS
Multiple card reads
Proximity readers work with a variety of contactless smart cards and key fobs that meet ISO 15693 and ISO 14443 A/B standards. Communicating one hundred times faster than traditional 125 KHz proximity readers, the reader offers multiple card reads, read/write applications and custom card encoding. The readers come with an industry-standard Wiegand output compatible with most access control systems. A second communications port is provided supporting either RS-485 or TTL protocols.
Features: readers are available as fully potted, weather-resistant units with integral antennas; a 50 ohm SMA connector is also available where an external antenna is needed.
