DuPont, a worldwide chemicals and healthcare company, has released a corporate biosecurity kit designed to reduce employee exposure to a broad range of viruses and bacteria. The Worksite Biosecurity Kit aims to help users comply with four important measures that reduce the spread of germs: effective hand hygiene, surface disinfection, reduction of person-to-person contact through early diagnosis of infection and covering the nose and mouth to reduce large droplet spread. The worksite kit is ideal for use in high-exposure areas and by sanitation staff members.
Worksite Biosecurity Kit
- One 5-kg tub of area disinfectant and three spray bottles (DuPont suggests its RelyOn MDC brand)
- 10 DuPont Tyvek coveralls
- One reusable infrared thermometer with 1,000 alcohol wipes for cleaning
- 10 N-95 particulate respirators
- 20 surgical masks
- 50 pairs of nitrile gloves
- Three pairs of splash-resistant goggles
