Fire Alarm Station Cover

Protects manual alarm stations from false alarms

The poly-carbonate cover is used to protect manual alarm stations from false alarm, vandalism, dust and weather. The cover may be equipped with an audible alarm function, causing the unit to emit a siren sound if the cover itself is opened or tampered with. The cover is UL-tested and when operated, will not obstruct the use of the pull station.

The fire alarm control panel uses the supplier's SmartLink peer-to-peer protocol to connect up to 250 network nodes to meet challenging design applications. The supplier's SmartStart self-programming and XP95 fully-digital communications protocol is also featured within the control panel, enabling compatibility with new or existing wiring. The control panel uses analog sensors, addressable input and control interface devices, and remote status and control capabilities. Fully-digital single or dual SLC's support up to 126 analog points each for accurate event reporting. The SmartStart feature identifies and configures all system modules, circuits and devices to default alarm mode.

Addressable Control Panel

Auto-programming capabilities

The control panel has an integral remote upload/download communicator which allows for reporting of all system activity to a remote monitoring location. Using a Windows-based software package, the installer can command the panel to program itself. The panel also contains a built-in Notification Appliance Circuits (NAC) synchronization for user interfaces.

Voice Evacuation Panel

Digital power amplifier

The voice evacuation panel has an internal microphone, low-current draw, undistorted 25 or 50 Watt sine power and four speaker loop outputs. Two pre-recorded voice messages can be programmed into the digital message unit. The panel can operate stand-alone, with integral power supply, or powered with an external listed source.

The control panel features a modular design that is configured per project requirements.

With one to 10 Signaling Line Circuits (SLCs), the panel supports up to 3,180 intelligent addressable devices. The panel has a 640-character LCD which presents information to operators concerning a fire situation, fire progression, and evacuation details.

Upgrades supplier's AUTOCALL Systems

The fire alarm system interface enables the supplier's existing AUTOCALL customers to upgrade their control panel to its 4100U fire alarm platform. The 4100U XA Loop Interface module enables the 4100U panel to serve as either the master panel or a data-gathering panel (DGP) in an AUTOCALL XA loop system.

Smoke Control System

Controls smoke using network communication

The building management smoke control system integrates traditional environmental systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire alarm and security. If a fire starts on a specific floor of a building, the building systems would react by decreasing air pressure on that floor, while simultaneously pressurizing the floors above and below to contain the smoke, clear evacuation routes and minimize smoke damage. The system supports a set of UL 864 (UUKL) Ethernet communications hardware and system equipment, that together can be configured as a stand-alone building control network or sub-network.
