SECURITY C3 SUPERVISOR

This position will supervise all 24/7 operations of Metro-North's Regional Security Command, Control and Communications Center (C3) in North White Plains, NY. In addition, this position will assist the Senior Specialist Security Systems with the operation and administration of all electronic security systems company-wide.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of progressively more complex management experience in a security operations environment for a public and/or governmental organization, which includes managing professionals and/or contracted personnel in a multi-site operation.

• Familiarity with electronic access control, intrusion detection and CCTV security systems.
• Broad background in technology used in security and/or communication systems.
• Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact productively with internal/external customers.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments with fluctuating priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) for report preparation.
• Must be available 24/7 as required, including rotating shifts and weekend and holiday coverage.
• Knowledge of standard safety and security policies and procedures.
• Geographical familiarity with New York metropolitan region.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with National Incident management System (NIMS).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business and/or related discipline.
• Familiarity with emergency (Police/Fire/EMS/911) or central station dispatching.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP), NIMS Certifications; IS700 & IS100.
