L-1 Identity Solutions Inc., Stamford, Conn., a provider of products and solutions for securing personal IDs and assets, has agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of Bioscrypt Inc., Ontario, Canada, a provider of enterprise access control solutions, in a stock-for-stock transaction.

Bosch, a supplier of electronic protection and communication systems, is planning to acquire all shares of Extreme CCTV Inc., Burnaby, Canada, to boost its Security Systems division and extend its activities in video surveillance.

IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, Dallas, a provider of active RFID solutions, has acquired Wtek, Norway, also a provider of active RFID solutions.

Securitas Systems, Stockholm, Sweden, a provider of security solutions, has purchased the assets of Securex, a provider of installation, service and monitoring solutions to LP Innovations' retail customer base.

Agreements

VidSys, Vienna, Va., a provider of physical security situation management, has partnered with Vidient Systems Inc., Santa Clara, Calif., a developer of video analytics and behavior recognition solutions, to achieve better situational awareness and improved incident response.

TopEyeView, Norcross, Ga., a provider of a highly efficient real-time video images from a “bird's-eye-view,” and Vidiation LLC, Lake Zurich, Ill., a company pioneering Homeland security radiation detection solutions, have entered into a strategic partnership agreement that enables the companies to market each other's services to their respective customers.

Lumension Security Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., a security management company, has announced a partnership with Alcatel-Lucent, Paris, a voice, data and video communication services provider, that will integrate Lumension's management solution into Alcatel-Lucent's OmniAccess 3500 Nonstop Laptop Guardian.
