The Stanley Works, New Britain, Conn., a supplier of tools and engineered solutions, has completed its purchase of Sonitrol Corp., Berwyn, Pa., a provider of security monitoring services, access control and fire detection systems.

bioMETRX Inc., Jericho, N.Y., a biometric product engineering company, has purchased the assets of Sequiam Corp., an OEM provider.

NitroSecurity Inc., Portsmouth, N.H., a provider of information security solutions, has acquired RippleTech, Conshohocken, Pa., a developer of data access intelligence systems.

AGREEMENTS

Tri-Ed Distribution, Woodbury, N.Y., a distributor of security products, has been selected by Clinton Electronics Corp., Loves Park, Ill., a provider of CCTV security equipment, as its exclusive North American distributor.

Bosch Security Systems, Fairport, N.Y., will support storage devices from NetApp Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., under a strategic, global partnership to capitalize on the development of the IP video surveillance market.

L-1 Identity Solutions, Stamford, Conn., a provider of identity solutions, has signed a merger agreement with Digimarc Corp., Beaverton, Ore., a supplier of secure identity solutions.

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Imaging Products Division has agreed with DICE Corp., Bay City, Mich., to integrate its DVRs with DICE's monitoring systems.

On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc., Suffern, N.Y., a developer of video surveillance systems, has appointed SplonCo Inc. its manufacturer's representative for Northern Illinois.

Proximex, Sunnyvale, Calif., a company in the physical security information management market, has signed a reseller agreement with Tech Systems Inc., Atlanta, a security systems integrator.

Vicon Industries Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., a designer of video surveillance systems, has integrated its SurveyorVFT camera with the Nextiva IP video platform from Verint Systems Inc., to launch a new IP camera called the Nextiva S2800e.
