ICx Technologies, Arlington, Va., a developer of advanced sensor technologies, has acquired Phoenix-based PureTech Systems, a firm specializing in video analysis technologies for wide area surveillance. The division will now be known as ICx Vision Systems.

Saflink Corp., Kirkland, Wash., a company that offers biometric security, smart card and cryptographic technologies, has acquired IdentiPHI Inc., Austin, Texas, a company that offers a comprehensive suite of enterprise security solutions and consulting services. The company will combine management teams and operate as IdentiPHI Inc.

Bosch, a supplier of technology and services, has acquired the Canadian company Extreme CCTV Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of illuminators and cameras, to strengthen its security systems division and extending its activities in video surveillance.

Agreements

The Gilbertson Group, Coatesville, Pa., has joined SafetyCare's Authorized Partner Program.

Verint Systems Inc., Melville, N.Y., a provider of analytic software-based solutions, has announced that video analytics provider Agent Vi, New York, has integrated its solutions to the Nextiva IP video platform. Verint also announced that AirVisual, a manager of video and location-based data, has integrated its IntelliViewer application to Verint's Nextiva IP video platform.

On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), Suffern, N.Y., a provider of video surveillance software, has appointed DataStrait Networks, Plymouth, Minn., a provider of products and expertise for configuring voice and data systems, as its manufacturer's representative for the North-Midwest region. OnSSI has also chosen St. Louis-based Manufacturer's Solution Alliance (MSA) to represent OnSSI's product line in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska.

Panasonic Security Systems, Secaucus, N.J., a provider of professional video surveillance solutions, has added R.F. Mayo Associates Inc. as a new sales representative for the territory including Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana.

videoNEXT, Chantilly, Va., a developer of physical security information management systems, has formed a strategic partnership with Viscom Systems Inc., Cambridge, Mass., a security systems integrator. videoNEXT has also signed a value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with North American Video (NAV), Brick, N.J., a systems integrator, to integrate videoNEXT's Security Knowledge Manager as a part of its video surveillance offering.

ADI, Melville, N.Y., a distributor of security and low voltage products, has made an agreement with D-Link Systems, Fountain Valley, Calif., a provider of connectivity for small, medium and large enterprise business networking, to offer dealers IP connectivity solutions for residential and small business applications.

Announcement

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP), Springfield, Mo., has launched SecureCom Wireless LLC as a new business to provide cellular service for DMP customers utilizing the company's recently released 463G Digital Cellular Communicator.
