Welcome to the Best of the Best, our annual end-of-the-year recap, which provides useful information our readers can use throughout the year ahead. This third-annual special edition continues our year-end tradition of providing quick-read information on industry trends and technology. Taken as a whole, this special issue provides a snapshot of the industry we serve, composed of three elements:
