Bold Technologies promotes Anderson, Petrone

Bold Technologies, Gurnee, Ill., has promoted Teri Anderson to the position of sales coordinator. She will demonstrate and sell Bold's Navision product, a soon-to-be-released software for medium and large alarm companies. She will also coordinate in-house marketing and trade shows. Bold also promoted Mike Petrone to new product specialist for the North American region. Petrone started with Bold earlier this year as a support technician.
Electronics Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas, has hired co-founders of Fiderus, Al Decker and Rebecca J. Whitener. Decker was named director of global security and privacy services, reporting to Brad Rucker. Whitener is director of EDS' privacy services practice.
Fiber Options, Bohemia, N.Y., has appointed Sanford Green as national sales director responsible for North American sales.
Riptech Inc., Alexandria, Va., has expanded its management team. Loren Burnett is senior vice president and chief financial officer, and Elad Yoran is executive vice president for corporate development and chief marketing officer.
President and CEO Frank Brewer of Security Services and Technologies, Philadelphia, was named as business services winner of the 2001 Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Steven R. Lee and John Mize have been appointed to the staff at Exault Inc., Chicago, a network security and consulting firm. Both will be consultants to help serve the firm's northwest services.
Guardsmark Inc., New York, has appointed Thomas A. Miller as manager of its branch in Omaha, Neb. Miller spent 28 years at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and was chief of firearms instruction for the FBI and for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Six members were added to the board of directors at @Security Broadband Corp., Austin, Texas. The new members are Jeffrey Abbas, Alain Allard, Thomas R. Jokerst, Robert S. Pick, Christopher J. Shipman and David M. Woodrow.
E. Robert Klein has been hired as vice president of sales and marketing at NTK NewTek, Princeton, N.J. Klein is responsible for North American sales and distribution in Latin America, Europe and Africa.
Rainbow CCTV, Irvine, Calif., has appointed Dave Kelly to the position of international sales manager. He will be based in the United Kingdom.
Sensormatic Electronics Corp., Boca Raton, Fla., has named Mark Stafford as director of its Middle East operations, based out of Sensormatic's London office. Stafford has more than 10 years experience with the company.
Don Jensen has joined Alarm Monitoring Services, Metairie, La., as its Northern United States senior account executive.
Dale S. Duda has joined Sandra Jones and Co., Chardon, Ohio, as a senior consultant.
Kent Shields has been named senior vice president and general manager of Datacard Group, Minnetonka, Minn.
InfoGraphic Systems, Garden Grove, Calif., has named Turk Cuddington its mid-Atlantic regional manager covering Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Kentucky.
