To support its research into automatic identification technology, Checkpoint Systems Inc., Thorofare, N.J., has joined the Auto-ID Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass. The center's mission is to develop automatic identification systems in collaboration with endusers and technology providers.
