Views and controls 48 cameras simultaneously

Software is designed for the supplier's DX7000 digital video recorder. It allows users to view and control 48 live cameras simultaneously, from up to 100 IP-addressable sites. Operators can drag and drop cameras into the display screen and play back individual cameras.

Camera provides a panoramic view, thus eliminating blind spots. Optional views include 360-degree global, top 180-degree view in the top third of the lens, or a bottom 180-degree view in the bottom third of the lens. Receives video over wireless network

Remote monitoring software allows PDA users running Pocket PC 2002 to receive video from the supplier's network video equipment. The software has built-in functions that alert users when they are out of range. The program resumes contact with the network when the user comes back within range of the access point. Users can switch between preset network cameras to automate monitoring of multiple sites.

Features: images can be scaled and rotated to fit the PDA's display area and to view various picture orientations.
