MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS

GE Industrial Systems, Plainville, Conn., a division of General Electric Co., has acquired InfoGraphic Systems, Garden Grove, Calif. GE has also completed its acquisition of Ion Track Inc., Wilmington, Mass., a provider of advanced trace detection systems.

Tech Systems Inc., Duluth, Ga., has acquired Baker's Security Solutions, Houston.

Apollo, Newport Beach, Calif., has acquired the ASTI product line including access control panels, alarm panels and readers. Apollo will provide upgrades from the ASTI line to current Apollo products.

AGREEMENTS

Johnson Controls Inc., Milwaukee, has introduced a high-speed visitor management system manufactured by Security Identification Systems Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., which will be offered by Johnson Controls under a sales agreement.

Anixter International Inc., Skokie, Ill., and Axis Communications, Chelmsford, Mass., have announced a partnership in which Anixter will become a distributor of Axis' IP-based security equipment.

IDenticard, Lancaster, Pa., and Horizon Software International LLC, Loganville, Ga., have formed an alliance to make IDenticard's access control and imaging systems compatible with Horizon's comprehensive food service management solutions.

GE Interlogix, Plainville, Conn., has selected JM Resources, King of Prussia, Pa., as a preferred dealer in the Pennsylvania tri-state area.

CCTV manufacturer Sperry West, San Diego, and ADI, Melville, N.Y., a unit of Honeywell, have formed an international distribution and sales partnership.
