Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions, Minneapolis, has completed its acquisition of Lewisville, Texas-based Ultrak CCTV. Approximately 300 of Ultrak's 520 employees will join Honeywell. In addition, Honeywell has licensed the Ultrak name.

COPS Monitoring, Williamstown, N.J., has announced plans to open a new central monitoring station in Phoenix.

T.A.C., Toronto, has been honored with a Best New Product Award at the LonWorld 2002 show. It is the third year in a row the company has won the award.
