  • RSA Security, Bedford, Mass., has acquired PassMark Security, Menlo Park, Calif., a provider of online banking authentication solutions.

  • Lockheed Martin Corp., Bethesda, Md., has agreed to acquire Savi Technology Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., a provider of active radio frequency identification solutions.

  • Synercard, Quebec, Canada, has entered into a partnership with Identicam Systems Inc., Ontario, Canada, a subsidiary of Brady Corp., under which Identicam will become a Synercard Secure Elite Partner and will distribute and integrate Synercard products.

  • Panasonic Security Systems, Secaucus, N.J., has teamed with IDenticard Systems, Lancaster, Pa., to create an integrated access control solution to further support Panasonic's recently implemented open infrastructure initiative.   • HID Corp., Irvine, Calif., has chosen DVTel Inc., Ridgefield Park, N.J., to join its group of OEM partners for the VertX Access Controller and the iClass EdgeReader series.

  • Toshiba Surveillance and IP Video Products Group, Irvine, Calif., has formed a strategic partnership with MAXxess Systems Inc., Anaheim, Calif., to collaborate on the development of software that integrates Toshiba's digital video recording technologies with MAXxess' security solutions.
