• Armor Holdings Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., has acquired Swiss-Photonics AG, a Swiss maker of equipment used to verify authenticity of documents.

• Securitas Systems in the United States has acquired Premier System Solutions Inc., Tampa, Fla., a security systems dealer/installer.

• RSA Security, Bedford, Mass., has acquired PassMark Security, Menlo Park, Calif., a provider of online banking authentication solutions.

• Lockheed Martin Corp., Bethesda, Md., has agreed to acquire Savi Technology Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., a provider of active radio frequency identification solutions.

• Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), San Diego, has completed its acquisition of Geo-Spatial Technologies Inc., Springfield, Va. a developer of geospatial technology for advanced 3-D imaging, reconnaissance, remote sensing and mapping systems.

• Optex, Chino, Calif., has partnered with Thomasson Marketing Group Inc., Chino, Calif., which will represent Optex's line of specialty sensors in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii.

• Synercard, Quebec, Canada, has entered into a partnership with Identicam Systems Inc., Ontario, Canada, a subsidiary of Brady Corp., under which Identicam will become a Synercard Secure Elite Partner and will distribute and integrate Synercard products.

• Panasonic Security Systems, Secaucus, N.J., has teamed with IDenticard Systems, Lancaster, Pa., to create an integrated access control solution to further support Panasonic's recently implemented open infrastructure initiative. Panasonic has also formed an alliance with AirVisual Inc., New York, to develop a range of network-based applications employing intelligent technology.

• HID Corp., Irvine, Calif., has chosen DVTel Inc., Ridgefield Park, N.J., to join its group of OEM partners for the VertX Access Controller and the iClass EdgeReader series.

• Toshiba Surveillance and IP Video Products Group, Irvine, Calif., has formed a strategic partnership with MAXxess Systems Inc., Anaheim, Calif., to collaborate on the development of software that integrates Toshiba's digital video recording technologies with MAXxess' security solutions.

• Middle Atlantic Products, Riverdale, N.J., has named Intermountain Marketing, Lone Tree, Colo., to serve as its Independent Factory Representative for the security market in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Eastern Idaho, Eastern Montana and El Paso, Texas.

• GE Security, Bradenton, Fla., has formed an OEM relationship with Sun Microsystems, Santa Clara, Calif., that will enable GE Security to deliver a computer network and building access control solution targeted at large corporations and government entities.

• Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Security Products Division, Irvine, Calif., has signed an agreement with Synnex Corp., Fremont, Calif., to distribute the Mitsubishi line of digital security recording solutions to resellers in the United States.

• Sanyo Security Products, Chatsworth, Calif., has named North American Video, Brick, N.J., as an authorized reseller.

• Sielox, with new headquarter offices in Runnemede, N.J., has formed a sales partnership with Sonitrol Corp., Berwyn, Pa., under which Sonitrol will brand and sell Sielox's Pinnacle Access Control Solution.

• AMAG Technology, Torrance, Calif., has formed a business alliance with Axis Communications, Chelmsford, Mass., under which Axis network cameras will be integrated with AMAG's Security Management System.

• Detex Corp., New Braunfels, Texas, has formed an OEM agreement with MAXxess Systems Inc., Anaheim, Calif., under which Detex will expand product offerings in its DTX access control line.

• Saflink Corp., Bellevue, Wash., has formed a reciprocal reseller partnership with ImageWare Systems Inc., San Diego, under which the Saflink SureAccess system will be integrated with ImageWare's IWS EPI Builder identification software development kit.

• Polaroid Commercial ID Systems, Waltham, Mass., has launched a fully integrated ID card system with the software, camera interface, printer and supplies from Datacard Group, Minnetonka, Minn.

• Tyco Fire and Security, Boca Raton, Fla., has teamed with Microsoft to develop a software platform from which business and security applications can be created and integrated.

• Brinks Home Security, Irving, Texas, has created Brinks Business Security to provide security technology and processes to commercial customers.

• Honeywell, Syosset, N.Y., has launched the Honeywell Security Rewards Web site and online catalog, available at www.honeywellrewards.com.

• Advanced Digital Security Solutions, Samsung360°, New York, has completed its new fulfillment center in Denver. The facility will introduce Samsung Techwin video and CCTV customers to enhancement in customer service and order turn-around time.

• RSIalarm, Minneapolis, has announced that it is expanding operations to North America.
