Command Information, Herndon, Va., a provider of network services, has acquired Idealogica Inc., an information security company.

Tyco International Ltd., Pembroke, Bermuda, a provider of security products and services, has purchased all of the assets of Winner Security Services LLC for approximately $90 million.

Fortinet, Sunnyvale, Calif., a provider of unified threat management solutions, has acquired IPLocks' database security products and technologies to broaden its network security portfolio.

ICx Technologies, Arlington, Va., a developer of advanced sensor technologies for Homeland security, has acquired S3I LLC, Reistertown, Md., a developer of biological threat detection technologies.

Midstate Security, Grandville, Mich., a security and automation solutions provider, has acquired Vision Technology International Inc., Holland, Mich., a manufacturer of security and surveillance products and services.

GlobalOptions Group Inc., New York, a provider of risk management services, and First Advantage Corp., Poway, Calif., a risk mitigation and business solutions provider, have aligned to cross-sell each other's complementary risk management services.

Lumidigm, Albequerque, N.M., a multispectral biometrics company, and Alphatronics, Belgium, a provider of solutions for pedestrian and vehicle entrance control, have teamed to create an outdoor biometric access control solution.

Cypress Computer Systems Inc., Lapeer, Mich., a developer of access control products, has partnered with Veridt, Middleton, Wis., a designer of reader products and software, to integrate its wireless interface devices into applied biometric/smart card technology.

WYNIT Inc., North Syracuse, N.Y., a national distributor serving the Security/ID and VAR markets, will distribute SAMSUNG/GVI Security products including video surveillance security solutions to the Homeland security, institutional and commercial market segments

NEC Corp. of America, Irving, Texas, a provider of IT management solutions, is partnering with SYNNEX Corp., Fremont, Calif., a business process services company, to distribute NEC's IT platform products.
