CVideo announces initiative to emphasize school applications

CVideo Inc., San Diego, has introduced an initiative to provide increased security and safety to school campuses. The initiative is currently focusing on Lawrence Township Public School in New Jersey. Cvideo's Campus View digital video monitoring system has been developed to incorporate emergency response, incident prevention and operational activity monitoring for school campuses. Campus View allows emergency personnel to view live images from multiple locations. School district personnel can also monitor in real-time or search pre-recorded and stored video clips.
Datacard Group, Minnetonka, Minn., has announced that it has assembled a team of smart card specialists to provide card issuers with a range of security evaluation services. The new group, called Datacard Consult p7, will be based in London and serve card issuers around the world.
Sensormatic Electronics Corp., Boca Raton, Fla., has formed a video routing development center. The center will be a part of Sensormatic's video systems division, based in San Diego.
Recognition Source LLC has relocated its corporate headquarters to St. Charles, Ill., a suburb of Chicago. The company's former headquarters in Lisle, Ill., has been shut down.
Allied Security, San Diego, a contract security services firm, has added Qualcomm Inc., a digital wireless communications company in San Diego as a new client. Allied will assign nearly 100 security officers to Qualcomm's 19 Southern California facilities.
Banque Technology Systems Inc., London, a smart card and biometric security system company in Europe and Asia, has opened its U.S. headquarters in San Mateo, Calif.
SuperCom Smart Cards Inc., Northvale, N.J., has become a founding member of Fargo Technology Alliance, a consortium of card technology-related firms formed by Fargo Electronics Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn. The alliance has been formed to promote advanced smart card solutions.
Greater Alarm, Loomis, Calif., donated a fire alarm system for a new dormitory at the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento, Calif. The fire alarm system was donated by the company's Sacramento Valley, Calif., branch office.
