Doorway access control: Eliminates tailgating through doors

An infrared field across the doorway monitors the passage of each individual, detecting tailgaters following as closely as two inches behind a cardholder.

Features: handles multiple reads during a single door opening; has its own door lock control output; door contact input monitors for door propping; can inhibit elevator ascent, lock "down-stream" doors, activate cameras and page security guards; provides accurate building population counts.
