Verio Inc., Englewood, Colo., a web-hosting company, has launched IntelliSecurity Services, an enhanced level of managed security service. IntelliSecurity Services uses security software and real-time, live intelligence to protect companies' intellectual property by detecting suspicious online activity and thwarting attacks of computer networks. The security service combines a proprietary technology platform and a security staff provided by Riptech Inc., Alexandria, Va., a provider of real-time information protection. The platform uses real-time, live intelligence to identify and react to suspicious activity based on data from a customer's network security services, such as firewalls, Virtual Private Networks and Intrusion Detection Systems.
OpenNetwork Technologies, Clearwater, Fla., has formed a technology partnership with Business Layers Inc., Rochelle Park, N.J., a developer of eProvisioning solutions. OpenNetwork and Business Layers will work together to facilitate the integration and interoperability between their products, DirectorySmart and eProvision DayOne. The integration of the two products will leverage OpenNetwork's DirectorySmart's web-based provisioning with eProvision Day One's non-web-based provisioning to provide mutual customers with a comprehensive security provisioning solution.
ZixIt Corp., Dallas, has entered into an agreement with sNET Systems Corp., Tampa, Fla., a developer of distributed network deception management solutions, which allows sNET to integrate the use of ZixIt's ZixMail secure email service with sNET's advanced computer network security solutions worldwide. The integration of ZixMail allows sNET's security systems to send secure email notifications to designated recipients when a network security breach is detected. The agreement allows for ZixMail service to be incorporated into sNET solutions developed for sNET's current and future clients. The agreement includes an annual license fee for every client.
SuperCom Smart Cards Inc., Northvale, N.J., a producer of contactless smart cards, printers, readers/writers and contactless smart card manufacturing equipment, has entered into a strategic partner agreement with Synercard Corp., Hull, Quebec, Canada, an international producer of photo ID personalization and issuance software. Under the terms of the agreement, Synercard's Asure-ID Internet-enabled photo ID software technology will be incorporated into SuperCom's SPPL 1000 contactless smart card production equipment and CIDS 6005 card-personalizing printer. SuperCom will also provide card production issuance services to Synercard's international reseller network.
