Liddy appointed VP of operations at Security Technologies

Tom Liddy has been appointed vice president of operations at Security Technologies Group (STG), Sunrise, Fla. John L. Szczygiel has been chosen as vice president of sales and marketing. Brent Wall has joined STG as business development manager.
Allied Signal, King of Prussia, Pa., has promoted Steven W. Heaney to vice president of business development for Southern California. Heaney joined the company in 1997 as district manager and business development manager for Seattle and Portland, Ore.
The National Fraud Center, Horsham, Pa., has named Dennis H. Walters director of consulting services.
Jack Woycheese has been appointed vice president for international relations at Gage-Babcock & Associates, Fairfax, Va.
Ray Sooley has been named director of sales at American Fibertek, Somerset, N.J.
SAFLOK, Troy, Mich., bestowed its sales excellence award on regional sales director Fred Juran for total dollar value sold. Juran also won the top producer award for lock systems. Rich Casciato, a regional sales director, won the top producer award for Safekeeper safe sales. Dale Mathias, vice president of multi-family/institutions sales, won the top producer award for total contracts and for Microcard sales.
Fiber Options, Bohemia, N.Y., has appointed Eric Brotherhood to eastern regional sales manager. Michael Indelicato has been chosen as product reliability manager.
Digital Monitoring Products Inc. (DMP), Springfield, Mo., has named Wendy Metzger as regional sales manager for the Northwest Territory. Metzger has 10 years of selling and industry experience. Bob Mikkelsen has been appointed as South Central regional sales manager. He has been employed at DMP since 1998.
John Menzel was recently promoted to director of technology integration at HID Corp., Irvine, Calif.
Sensormatic Electronics Corp., Boca Raton, Fla., has announced that Don Lyman will join the company as vice president and general manager for the Latin America region. Wilhelm M. Lembeck has been named vice president of operations for global service.
Physical Optics Corp. (POC), Torrance, Calif., has appointed Burt Walker president and CEO of Broadata Communications Inc. (BCI), a spin-off of POC's fiber optic communications products group.
OpenNetwork Technologies, Clearwater, Fla., has named Karen Burns as vice president of marketing. Susan Nelson-Crowley has been promoted to director of product management. The company has named Bob Worner vice president of engineering.
James G. Antal, has been appointed director of Inter Protege Security Systems, Lisbon, Portugal. The company is a subsidiary of Inter Con Security Systems Inc., Pasadena, Calif.
