A waterproof model has joined the Trilogy line of locks from Alarm Lock Systems, Amityville, N.Y. The T2 Trilogy waterproof lock features fingertip programming, hundreds of codes, long-life clutch, multi-level user hierarchies, ADA-compliant leversets and interchangeable cores, according to the supplier. The lock is available in satin chrome finishes.
Touch Sense Device electronic locks release through the act of a human touch, even through gloves and clothing. Manufactured by Securitron Magnalock Corp. , Sparks, Nev., the line is available in a push-bar version, the TSB-3, or pull-handle version, the TSH. TSB-3 comes in clear or black finishes and in three lengths that can be modified in the field to accommodate non-standard door openings. The device comes with 16 feet of cable and door cord, as well as mounting fasteners to fit metal or wood doors. TSH comes with reversible handle, offset spacer, electronics, 16 feet of cable and door cord, engraved plates designating "pull" and "push," and blank plates in gray and black. The handle is 9x41.2x11.2 inches.
The Series 6000 SmartExit device comes in three new Immediate Egress models from Locknetics Security Engineering, Forestville, Conn. The 6010EUH is a hardwired system with programmable access control. The 6010EUB is a stand-alone unit that operates with four standard AA batteries and offers programmable access control. The 6010BAC is hard-wired and connects to any access control device with a DPDT contact. The microprocessor-based models - 6010EUH and 6010EUB - feature SelectEntry or TouchEntry programmable access control for use with user codes or TouchEntry data keys. Up to 150 users may be programmed at each device. A 100-event audit trail is standard, and a 500-user/500-event audit trail is optional. Toggle, lockout, one-time-user and double use are standard functions.
