NEW ACCESS CONTROL COMPANY FORMS: SECURITY INTERNATIONAL

A new access control company, Security International LLC, Franklin, Wis., has formed with the acquisition of the assets and intellectual property of AXS Technologies, Montreal, including the Intelli-M product line.
Fargo Electronics Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn., has named Latin ID, Mexico City, as its import supplier for Mexico. Fargo has also announced that Bio-key International Inc., Eagan, Minn., has joined the Fargo Technology Alliance. Furthermore, Sony Chemicals Corp., Japan, has formed a technology and business alliance and has settled its pending lawsuit with Fargo.
Digital Security Controls Ltd., Toronto, is now part of Tyco Fire and Security, a division of Tyco International, Exeter, N.H.
Texas Instruments Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Systems, Dallas, has entered a partnership with Lenel Systems International Inc., Rochester, N.Y., in which Lenel will resell Texas Instruments' new line of RFID vicinity cards and readers for access control applications under the Lenel brand name.
