New Infosecurity Pavilion to be unveiled at ISC East expo in New York

The International Security Conference and Exhibition (ISC Expo/East) will introduce an Infosecurity Pavilion at the 2001 event, scheduled for Aug. 28-30 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York. The Infosecurity Pavilion will showcase secure e-commerce, disaster recovery, network and internet security, firewalls and virus protection. The expo will also include a security bookstore hosted by international security publisher Butterworth-Heinemann, Newton, Mass.

Fargo Electronics Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn., has received notice that the European Patent Office intends to grant a patent for Fargo's Printer Ribbon Identification Sensor. Fargo has also received favorable action from the U.S. Patent and Trademark office covering Fargo's RibbonTraq technology.

Kalatel and GBC have merged within Interlogix Inc., Austin, Texas, to form the GBC by Kalatel line of discreet CCTV solutions. Kalatel has also added cameras, lenses, monitors, VCRs, brackets, housings and observation equipment to round out its product line.

Johnson Controls, Cardkey Security Systems, Milwaukee, has selected Pelco, Clovis, Calif., as its preferred CCTV provider.

Ultrak Inc., Dallas, signed a licensing agreement to employ VideoBridge technology invented by Edinburgh, Scotland-based IndigoVision as the network operating protocol across its digital CCTV products.

HID Corp., Irvine, Calif., has expanded its Web site (www.HIDCorp.com) to provide its direct-order customers with real-time order information at no extra charge.

ECSI International, Clifton, N.J., has acquired a license to manufacture the Starlog tracking system as part of the Vehicle and Vessel Tracking System from Hyperdyne Inc.

@Security Broadband Corp., Austin, Texas, has partnered with Monitoring Automation Systems, Irvine, Calif., a supplier of computer systems and monitoring services.
