New president and CEO at IDenticard

Robert L. Hager has been named president and chief executive officer of IDenticard Systems, Lancaster, Pa. He succeeds Robert E. Fry, a co-founder of IDenticard, who will continue to serve as one of its directors. Hager, who joined IDenticard 22 years ago, has served as executive vice president and CEO of the company for the past six years.

Thomas A. Curtin, executive vice president and chief executive officer of Simplex, Gardner, Mass., will retire at the end of the year. He will continue as executive vice president through 1998 and assist with the management transition process. He will remain a member of Simplex's board of directors after his retirement. Stanley Clark has been promoted to senior vice president and chief executive officer, and Dennis Smith has been appointed as vice president and chief operating officer.

Robert Major has joined Riverdale Mills Corp., Northbridge, Mass., to oversee its line of welded security fencing products. Major, who brings two decades of experience to the position, holds several patents for barbed tape design and has published numerous papers on fencing specifications and standards.

Fred Petrillo, a former manager of investigations at Chase Manhattan Bank and former detective in the New York County District Attorney's office, has joined Corporate Loss Prevention Associates, Long Island City, N.Y., as director of investigations. Petrillo has more than 37 years of investigative experience in the public and private sectors.

John Finamore has joined Continental Instruments, Edgewood, N.Y., as director of sales. He will manage the company's sales and marketing divisions.

Mark Hawthorne will fill the new position of advertising and promotion manager at Hirsch Electronics Corp., Irvine, Calif. Hawthorne will handle advertising, media relations, promotional items and coordinate trade show participation.

Racom Systems, Greenwood Village, Colo., has appointed John A. Hinds to its board of directors. Hinds, an executive vice president of VeriFone Inc., until July 1996, replaces board member David Sikes, chairman and CEO of Ramtron International Corp.

Aiphone Intercom Systems, Bellevue, Wash., has promoted John Mosebar to government business manager, supervising GSA contract sales to the federal government. Hazel Johnston has been named government business assistant to provide inside government sales support and project administration.

Carrollton, Texas-based Ultrak's purchase of Monitor Dynamics Inc., Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., has given rise to several recent management changes: Gary Clinard, who established Monitor Dynamics almost 18 years ago, has been named Ultrak's vice president, integrated systems research and development; Harry Murray will replace Clinard as CEO and president of Monitor Dynamics; and John Carter will serve as Monitor Dynamics' vice president of engineering.

Robert Greenlaw has been appointed to a post in the expanding customer service department at Security Lock Distributors, Needham Heights, Mass. He is a specialist in the application, installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical access control products.

Tamron Industries Inc., Farmingdale, N.Y., has expanded its CCTV division management team. National sales manager Rob Crane supervises a sales team that includes new Western regional sales manager Chris Hawreluk and approximately 20 independent manufacturer's represen- tatives, while handling all sales duties east of the Mississippi and in Canada.

Gary Hackney has been promoted to director of marketing and sales for Detex Corp., New Braunfels, Texas.
