Lightning equipment protection

Remote detector unit

System automatically disconnects, isolates or interrupts and shunts the protected equipment's electrical I/Os for periods of time when it detects lightning. Bargraph display monitors atmospheric disturbances in real-time and restores connections when danger passes.

Fully-adjustable for delayed and variable timed arming, the device flashes a red LED when not armed. Tamper-resistant switching used to monitor the stainless steel bolt and to activate a 100+ decibel alarm. Powered by a 9v battery or 12v AC power with a 9v battery backup. Device is fire-rated for up to 3 hours and meets positive pressure tests.
