BIOMETRIC KEY

Embedded fingerprint scanner

The metal key has an embedded fingerprint scanner in the key grip. When the key is inserted into a lock or reader, the computer in the key communicates with a secondary computer embedded within the target application to authenticate the key holder. Encrypted data communication between the devices ensures integrity of the user authentication and blocks attempts to defeat or override it. Identification stored by the key system allows creation of a user database with custom features and personal preferences for each individual. The key system can be programmed to recognize identification attributes of the host device using serial numbers or other data.

Features: programmable time-of-day operation, key access transaction logging, can be integrated with keyless entry systems.
