Norton Door Controls presented with device dating back to 1882

Bill Keohane, president of Steeltech Building Products, South Windsor, Conn., recently presented Doug Millikan, general manager for Norton Door Controls, Monroe, N.C., with a Norton brand door closing device dating back to 1882. This product was among the first door closing devices designed and manufactured by Lewis C. Norton, founder of Norton Door Check & Spring, Boston, in 1880. It will be displayed at the headquarters of Norton Door Controls.

Ultrak Inc., Lewisville, Texas, has closed its Carroll, Ohio, manufacturing facility. The company has contracted with LeeMAH Electronics Inc., Lewisville, for the manufacture of products at a facility closer to its headquarters.
