Here are some reults from a survey of 3,000 IT administrators and security professionals on the use of user names and passwords for security and user authentication. 55% of end users write passwords downat least once.
51% require IT help to access applications because they forgot a password.
40% share passwords with others.
24% have at least eight user names and passwords on their system at any one time.
9% write every password down.
