Lenel, Pittsford, N.Y., has released the OnGuard 2000 2 superscript nd Edition security management solution that can tap into a suite of security management application across the enterprise from any business computer that supports a Web browser. OnGuard 2000 supports automatic alarm-based paging and e-mail notification and it offers a number of graphical user interface enhancements to alarm monitoring. OnGuard 2000 2 superscript nd Edition also supports Lenel's LNL-2000 Intelligent System Controller which can communicate to the access control driver in either a single or dual path configuration using Ethernet TCP/IP, dial-up or direct connect communication and is configurable with up to 8 MB of onboard memory providing support for up to 350,000 cardholders, per panel.
