Pelco Products Get a New Look

Pelco's Custom Match service allows users to customize the finish of their Pelco products to match any environment or background. According to Patrick Wilson, Pelco Custom Match coordinator, users provide a high-resolution image of any pattern, and the image is printed on a material similar to vinyl cloth and then baked onto the product. The finish is as durable as powder coating and will stand up in harsh environments.
“Architects and engineers may use Pelco Custom Match to design more aesthetically pleasing camera systems, but other users can utilize the technology to blend cameras into the background for the ultimate in covert security,” says Bob Herold, Pelco technical solutions director. “Users can even use this to create cameras that really stand out, making it clear that an area is under watch.”
The match process can be used on any metal Pelco product, including mounts, enclosures, dome enclosures, sun shrouds, monitors and digital video recorders. Shown above are a few examples of Pelco's custom-matched products.
