Indala Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Inc., has appointed Richard W. Krueger as director of sales and marketing. Krueger moves into the joint sales and marketing leadership role from the director of marketing position he has occupied since joining Indala in 1997.
Ed Merten has been promoted to director of marketing for Group 4 Securitas Technology Corp., Carson, Calif. Merten has been employed by Group 4 for more than 10 years.
Ian Chambers has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Fiber Options, Bohemia, N.Y. Formerly the director of CCTV marketing for Sensormatic Electronics Corp., Chambers has more than 23 years of experience in the surveillance industry.
Tim McMullen has been named legislative manager for Dallas-based Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA).
Trans Union Employment Screening Services, Independence, Ohio, has appointed Michael Pritt as operations manager.
Interactive Technologies Inc., North St. Paul, Minn., has hired Gail Essen as commercial product marketing manager. Don Weber has been promoted to vice president of dealer sales. Britt Sandusky has been promoted from sales engineer to area sales manager for southern Texas and Louisiana.
Mitch McKinzey has been promoted from senior project manager to director of technical applications, Texas, for Maris Equipment Co., Austin, Texas.
Designed Security Inc., Bastrop, Texas, a subsidiary of Detex Corp., New Brauinfels, Texas, has named Mark Crandall operations manager. Crandall has been with Detex since 1986.
R-O-M Corp., Belton, Mo., has appointed four new territory managers: Fred Johnson, based in Fort Worth, Texas, will oversee the Southwest; Bob Morrill, based in Westbrook, Maine, will oversee New England; Gene Capiak, based in Waukesha, Wis., will oversee the northern territory; and Wes Balsley, based in Centerville, Ohio, will oversee the north central territory.
