Kevin Balcom has been appointed western regional sales manager of Sanyo Security Video Products Division, Chatsworth, Calif. He has more than 14 years experience with PSA-LA, a member of one of the largest dealerships/buying networks in the country, according to Sanyo.

Pat Schuch has joined the security systems division of Houston-based Richardson Electronics as regional sales manager for the central region. He will work in the company's River Grove, Ill., facility and will manage personnel and sales activities for Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio, Iowa, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota and Missouri.

The Transportation Systems Group of Dallas-based Amtech Corp. has appointed Winston Guillory Jr. as senior vice president of sales, marketing and field operations.

Mark Tarter has been named as a commercial product manager at Kroy Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz. He will be responsible for the development, progress and management of all commercial label printers, accessories and tape supplies.

Jo Baglow has been named as marketing manager for Primary Image, Surrey, England. She will promote the company in Europe, the Americas and the Far East.

Ron Berry has been appointed to the newly created position of general manager of Computrol Security Systems, Burnaby, British Columbia. The appointment is part of a corporate expansion and reorganization. Previously, Berry was an operations manager with Simplex Intl. Equipment Co.

Noble and Associates, Portland, Ore., has retained Alfred Bosco as director of executive protection training. Bosco, a retired U.S. Secret Service agent, brings 30 years of security and law enforcement experience to the position.

James Clark has been elected president of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC). He waselected at IAPSC's annual business meeting on April 15 at the Tradewinds Resort in St. Petersburg Beach, Fla.

Stanley Dederich has joined Silent Knight, Maple Grove, Minn., as vice president of engineering. Also, Martha Thompson has been named as Southeast regional sales manager, and Mike Buckanavage has been named as Northeast regional sales manager.

InfoGraphic Systems Corp., Los Alamitos, Calif., has appointed Steven Wehofer as Midwest regional sales manager. Previously, he was a sales manager for Best Lock Corp.

John Coker has been promoted to manager, national and corporate accounts of Hirsch Electronics, Irvine, Calif. He has been with Hirsch for seven years, most recently as a regional sales manager.
