After establishing and managing European sales and support for Motorola Indala RFID products since 1988, Michael Burdass will head up similar efforts for HIDCorp.'s lines of proximity and Wiegand cards and readers. Burdass will work in the U.K office.

TESA Access Control, a member of the TESA Group, has appointed Kevin Whitley as vice president of sales to manage North American sales efforts. Lori Carter has joined TESA as inside sales manager.

Hirsch Electronics has established an applications engineering department to help end-users, dealers and consultants address access control needs. Steve McPherson will lead the new department as manager of applications engineering.

Micro Key Software Inc. has added seven staff members: Edward Cureo as support technician, Sherri Goss as accounts assistant, Edgardo Lopez to provide support for the international division, Derek Davidson as a programmer, Donna Sines as marketing director, Mig Perez as office administrator and Terry Downing as a part-time member of the service support team.

Joe Bucha, CML, has been named as national sales manager of American Security Distribution's newly formed Detention Division. He brings 25 years experience to the position and will concentrate on consulting, training and product distribution.

Yvette Ferry, a member of KingAlarm's senior management team, has been given expanded responsibilities, including overseeing branch/sales managers. Bruce Buickerood and Kirk Schultz have each been promoted to regional manager. They will take on supervisory responsibility for additional KingAlarm locations.

Tom Nash has been named as national sales manager at Videolarm. With 26 years industry experience, he will develop and implement marketing and sales strategies. Previously, he was regional sales manager and vice president of sales for Vicon Industries.

Operator Specialty Company (OSCO) has hired Bill Hildenrand as operations manager. John Moran has been promoted to inside sales manager. Peter Gil has been promoted to sales representative.

Daniel Stern has joined Eltron as manager of North American Sales for its Privilege Card division.

Paradigm Advanced Technologies has promoted Russell Bowman to national manager of support services. Previously, he headed Paradigm's technical support department. David Nerenberg has been named sales manager. Previously, he was sales manager for ISO/Rainbow.

DEI Integrated Security Control Systems has named James Wenck as its Pennsylvania regional manager and Scott Rice as its director of sales and engineering.

OSI Security Devices has appointed Gary Thornberg of Access Hardware Sales as its representative for northern California, Nevada and Hawaii.

Grant Johnson has joined FAAC Intl. as western regional sales manager. He will be repsonsible for sales and customer support of the entire line of FAAC gate operators throughout the western United States.

Dale Oleff has been named vice president for industrial security of ITS Inc. A former FBI agent and business owner, his new responsibilities will include new business expansion and officer recruitment.

Walter Ted Sandin has retired as president of Visual Methods Inc. After 27 years in the CCTV manufacturing business, he will be succeeded by Herman A. Kruegle who has been with VMI for 25 years, most recently as executive vice president.

Frank D'Eugenio has been promoted to general manager of HID Corp. Previously, he was controller for Sensor Engineering for five years.

Daniel Pulskamp has joined Gyyr, an Odetics company, as field sales manager. He will assist with systems integration, application development, troubleshooting, engineering and technicalsupport. Previously, he was a manufacturer's representative for Gyyr.
