Under-Vehicle Illumination System

The Security Illumination Mat System (SIMS) uses fiber-optic technology to produce a soft, uniform no-glare light devoid of obscuring shadows. The system is designed to be deployed on any surface including pavement, dirt, grass and gravel. Vehicles drive over the system, which illuminates the entire underside of a full-size car or truck and helps to increase vehicle throughput at check points.

In-Mask Pressure Information System

Prism System, an in-mask pressure information system, provides a color-coded LED display of remaining cylinder pressure to the user. Low-pressure is signaled to the firefighter with a flashing red light to inform the user of remaining cylinder content and the need to exit immediately. The system is based on wireless technology. A dirty lens or heavily-smoke-filled environment does not affect the user's ability to read the display.

Bomb-Resistant Waste Receptacles

Bomb-resistant waste receptacles use the supplier's Triple Wall technology, tested to withstand various capacity explosions without horizontal fragmentation. Initial blasts are contained horizontally and remaining blast energy is directed vertically. The receptacles are designed with no metal parts of the container in the blast path, and a stainless-steel top remains attached to the receptacles. Receptacles have galvanized edges, walls and drains, which provide corrosion resistance in most environments. Plastic liners are full- capacity 30- and 40-gallon. Internal drainage exits out of bottom or side. Spillage can also be stored internally for later cleanup and washdown.

Face Recognition Software

FaceReco SEARCH, a face identification software library, uses advanced techniques to simultaneously recognize multiple faces in a group of people as they approach a monitored area. A face image database and real-time face identification software identify faces of moving individuals captured by a CCD camera. Mail Decontamination Workstation

PostalSentry desktop workstation provides containment of hazardous biological and chemical contamination from tainted mail and packages. Proven at a 99.3 percent efficiency level at capturing 1 micron particle sizes, it provides a negative air pressure containment zone in which to open mail.
