Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Personal: Married .

Personal philosophy: Securitydirectors are not responsible for security to protect people and property losses. That responsibility is with the asset owner. We are here to help them manage their security risks.

Favorite movie: Patton.

One word that best describes you: I am still a soldier.

Leisure activities: I am very involved in Boy Scouts and I like to play golf.

Most treasured material possession: I have a guitar made specifically for my father in World War II. It was hand-made by a Japanese prisoner of war.

Greatest challenge: During the Gulf War I commanded a Civil Affair brigade in northern Iraq that was responsible for sheltering and feeding 500,000 Kurdish refugees.

Greatest reward: Feeding and sheltering the 500,000 Kurdish refugees.
