Michael A. Crane has joined IPSA International, Oakland, Calif., as managing director for its Great Lakes/Chicago region. Crane will oversee all the firm's security consulting, investigative and protective services in the region.

STG Security Technologies Group, Plantation, Fla., has named Craig Rose as regional sales manager for the North Central region. Rose will be responsible for the sales staff in the North Central United States. STG Security Technologies Group also appointed Russell Schmidt business development manager for the Chicago area.

Hirsch Electronics Corp., Irvine, Calif., has appointed Ross Head as national sales manager. Head, who joined Hirsch in 1998, has more than 10 years of experience in access control and project management.

Certified Marketing Services International, Atlanta, has announced that Burton S. Kolker, director of marketing and senior security consultant for Ackermann Security Systems, is the first security industry sales and marketing professional in Georgia to become certified through its "International Certification Program." Certified Marketing is accredited by the Dutch Council for Accreditation to offer an international marketing and sales certification program.

Apollo, Newport Beach, Calif., has named Richard Low as vice president of sales and marketing for the South Pacific and Asia regions.

Sensormatic Electronics Corp., Boca Raton, Fla., has appointed Ed Boudrot product marketing manager for the C*Cure 800/8000 line of enterprise security management systems. Boudrot will assist in the development of product requirements, competitive analysis, and serve as liaison between product marketing and product development. Sensormatic also appointed Donald Jette as senior manager of technical support of the company's access control division. Jette's new responsibilities extend across the access control division's call center and technical support functions and include Sensormatic's Software House products.

CSI Control Systems International Inc., Carrollton, Texas, has named Bill R. Davis vice president, Americas systems. Davis has 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations management.

David A. Schuldt will be retiring from full-time employment as the senior vice president of SLC Technologies Inc., Tualatin, Ore. Schuldt will become chairman of a general-aviation aircraft company in Florida.

Intelli-Site Inc., Irving, Texas, has announced that Todd A. Prichett was promoted to director of OEM Sales and Strategic Alliances. Prichett will formalize, expand and manage the OEM and Strategic Alliances.

American Protective Services, Oakland, Calif., has promoted Robert J. Frazier to branch manager for the firm's San Mateo, Calif., office. Frazier will oversee an operation with more than 350 security officers and a branch administrative staff of 14. American Protective Services also promoted Jamie Keating to the position of manager of its Santa Clara branch office.

Shawn McElhinney has joined TOA Electronics Inc., South San Francisco, Calif., as materials manager. McElhinney will be responsible for the distribution and logistics of TOA inventory from warehouses located in South San Francisco and Chicago.

Pinkerton Inc., Westlake Village, Calif., has promoted Len Ford to vice president of sales and marketing for U. S. security. In this role, Ford is responsible for developing objectives, policies and programs for the sales and marketing actvities for Pinkerton's U. S. Security division. Before joining Pinkerton, Ford worked for Spiegel as an invetigator and physical security specialist and for HartMarx Corp. as assistant director of loss prevention.

Adam Colombo has been appointed eastern regional sales manager of Tamron Industries Inc., Farmingdale, N.Y. Colombo has more than 12 years of experience in both consumer electronics and industrial optics at Philips Electronics, Pro Video and, most recently, at CBC (America) Corp.

JLM Wholesale Inc., Oxford, Miss., has appointed James Lee branch manager of JLM Wholesale, SE. Inc. in Charlotte, N.C.
