Axis Communications Compact Network Cameras
Aug 29, 2008 9:41 AM
Two ultra-compact fixed dome network Axis Communications cameras – the AXIS M3011, which provides VGA resolution; and the AXIS M3014, a 1.3-megapixel network camera – are designed for simplified recessed-mount installation and are suitable for unobtrusive video surveillance. Both models use progressive scan technology, providing full resolution images of moving objects without distortion, thus making it possible to view image details necessary for identifying individuals and objects of interest. Multiple video streams can be optimized individually in H.264 as well as Motion JPEG, and MPEG-4 Part 2 is supported for backward compatibility. Power-over-Ethernet supplies power to the cameras via the network. In addition, the cameras feature HTTPS encryption with preserved performance, IPv4/IPv6 and Quality of Service. Cover rings are available in various colors to suit interior design. Visit axis.com.
