The upgraded Velocity 3.0 Security Management System from Hirsch Electronics features enhanced capabilities for access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, badging, smart cards and biometrics. The system now includes Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), partitioning of the database and devices, advanced alarm/event routing and escalation, operator roles and split servers. The system also has interfaces for additional DVRs and central station receivers with upgraded encryption, quick hardware setup and device-level customization. Personal templates, multi-credential editing, ID scanner support and enrollment of FIPS 201-compliant cards are also available to the user.
