Contactless Smart Card Readers - Honeywell

The OmniAssure Contactless Smart Card Readers from Honeywell use patent-pending flash-on-card technology, which will update the reader’s flash firmware without having to remove it from the wall. Reader versions include a smart card reader, smart card reader plus keypad, fingerprint smart card reader and a multi-technology smart card/prox reader. Each reader can retrofit most of the supplier’s standard proximity systems as well as Wiegand-output proximity systems. Compatible cards include HSPD-12/FIPS 201 PIV II, TWIC, FRAC and DoD CAC cards as well as Open Standard ISO 14443 and 125 kHz proximity technologies. The readers feature two red and green LEDs and an ADA-compliant built-in audible buzzer.
