Mar 5, 2007 10:14 AM
The CR4 Card Reader Suppressor from Transtector Systems uses silicon avalanche surge suppression technology to protect systems that are sensitive to surges, such as access control and fire alarm systems. During a surge voltage, the device reacts in less than one nanosecond. It is designed to protect 5vDC to 24vDC with up to four dual-pair data lines. The device is constructed with terminal screws to simplify installation.
