The Mobio, Cryptolex universal ID from Trust Systems Inc. combines cryptography and biometrics to convert individual fingerprints into dynamic numbers called Biocodes. Biocodes are random numbers that never repeat, are only valid for a few seconds and act as legally binding digital signatures that can be logged, tracked and audited. Backend server-to-server integration allows the device to be used for building and door access, network login, VPN and Web applications. The generated Biocodes can be used anywhere a password is required, even if no network connection is available.
