American Fibertek Network Monitoring System
Nov 9, 2007 9:58 AM
The Scout Network Environmental Monitoring System from American Fibertek remotely monitors user-defined environmental conditions such as temperature, airflow and humidity levels, fan failures and power line changes. The system, a component of the American Fibertek’s V’nes networking system, notifies users of impending network failures so they can take appropriate action and preserve the integrity and continued operation of critical systems. It can operate as a standalone unit in a variety of system configurations or be integrated into the V’nes system. The system maintains and reloads programming automatically in the event of power or communication loss. Other features include bi-directional RS22/485 communications, pop-up alerts, alarm notifications, logging, polling and network management with interactive searches. Visit americanfibertek.com.
