Bioscrypt Fingerprint Reader
Feb 19, 2008 9:48 AM
Bioscrypt’s V-Station (Optical) fingerprint reader employs SecuGen’s optical sensor technology and features the supplier’s fingerprint pattern-matching algorithm and supporting firmware to perform identity verification. The reader is interoperable with the supplier’s Veri-Series readers, which use silicon sensors. Companies already using the readers can introduce the optical sensor reader without having to re-enroll employees in order to verify their fingerprint templates or implement a new project. The reader can be used for dual-or multi-factor authentication, supporting fingerprint biometric verification, personal identification numbers (PINs), proximity cards, tokens and smart cards.
