Bosch Indoor/Outdoor Camera Housings
Aug 17, 2007 9:34 AM
The UHI/UHO Series universal camera housings from Bosch Security Systems are IP66- and NEMA4X-rated and will protect cameras against water access and extreme temperature changes in rugged environments. The housing will accommodate the Bosch’s Dinion and megapixel cameras as well as cameras from other manufacturers including fixed, focal, varifocal and up to a 15x motorized zoom lens. The hinged side-opening design gives installers improved access to camera and lens controls while the housing remains mounted. The housings also feature tamper-resistant screws on the locking clasps to prevent unwanted entry. Outdoor housings include a sunshield to prevent sun glare, self-cleaning housing glass and a low-power window defroster to keep the glass free of fog or condensation in humid conditions. Users can route power, video and lens control cabling through fittings in the bottom rear of the housing or use the feed-through entry holes in the housing base.
