EasyLobby’s flagship visitor management product is now available for mobile applications on a wireless PDA with integrated driver’s license reading and barcode scanning. The SVM Mobile Secure Visitor Management System electronically reads visitor IDs, such as driver’s licenses, passports and business cards, and accurately captures information about them in an SQL Server or Oracle database. Captured information includes the name of the person being visited, the reason for the visit, entry and exit times, the visitor’s photo and the visitor’s signature. In 20 seconds or less, the visitor is checked in and issued a high-quality, customized full color visitor badge. The mobile system is suitable for loading dock, industrial plant, gated community and distribution and warehousing users who need a speedy method of processing visitors at vehicle windows. Mobile visitor stations can be networked over any LAN or WAN, wired or wireless, to share central databases. The system comes pre-installed on a full-featured, rugged Symbol handheld computer.
