Imprivata Identity and Access Management Platform
Jan 7, 2008 10:49 AM
Imprivata’s latest version of the OneSign platform, Version 4.0, offers a user-centric view of activities for policy enforcement and compliance purposes. A built-in database performs real-time replication of data across locations for accurate status monitoring for every user employing enterprise resources, including physical and IT assets. The new version extends the platform’s capabilities to manage multiple locations with a single implementation to enable enterprise-wide user identity roaming and seamless fail-over for business continuity. Imprivata also offers an open Application Programming Interface (API) to allow various access control vendors to incorporate the platform into any installation and allow any supported system to become a part of the converged security platform. Other new features include delegated administration to enable hierarchical administrative support across physical and IT boundaries, support for multiple accounts per user, support for Vista on 64-Bit Systems and multiple token support.
