Nov 26, 2007 9:59 AM
The 150-lb.-capacity Intermediate Distribution Rack from Middle Atlantic Products can house hubs, routers, digital video recorders and other components. It features an additional, removable aluminum plate that can be machined in the field so that integrators can mount dome cameras, wireless antennas and other components. The rack includes solutions for thermal, cable and power management. For thermal management, two 4.5-in. exhaust fans have been installed with air intakes at the bottom of the rack to allow cooler air to enter. For cable management, the rack features 4-in. grommeted cable pass-throughs for conduit. For power management, the rack features a nine-outlet, single-rackspace 15-amp power strip to ensure an adequate number of available outlets and amperage. The rack can be mounted using threaded rods or can be affixed directly to unistrut metal framing. It measures 24 inches deep with 21 inches of usable depth and is available in 12- and 16-space models. Visit middleatlantic.com.
