Sensaphone Wireless Remote Monitoring System
Dec 13, 2007 9:56 AM
The standalone Sensaphone 2800 is a remote monitor and alarm notification system that has eight external inputs, including four wireless sensors. The system helps protect equipment and facilities by alerting users to changes in environmental conditions. Each wireless sensor can be placed up to 300 ft. from the base unit, and each distance is extendable to an additional 300 ft. for each repeater, with no limit to the number of repeaters. The system monitors operating conditions such as temperature, power supply, alarms, humidity, water on the floor and intrusion. Alarm event and status updates are provided through telephone and custom voice messages. Batteries power the sensor for up to three years, and the unit monitors battery level and sensor function. The system is suitable for agriculture, water and wastewater, horticulture and other industries where facilities are spread out across wide areas. Visit sensaphone.com.
