The upgraded IntelliKnight 5820XL Fire Alarm Control Panel from Silent Knight now conforms to UL Ninth Edition requirements. Enhancements include a USB port to increase compatibility with laptop computers and a data compression software upgrade to enable the uploading and downloading files at a five-times faster rate than the previous model. The panel also has an increased power supply of 6 amps and offers a programming capability from the onboard user interface or via SKSS PC-based programming software. The panel supports 127 addressable points and can be expanded up to 508 points. It features an advanced digital communication protocol that uses standard wiring, thus making it ideal for new and retrofit applications. Other features include battery charging circuit integrity testing, drift compensation and automatic NFPA 72-compliant sensitivity test. The system has a built-in digital communicator and an integrated dead-front cabinet. Visit securitysolutions.com/productinfo or silentknight.com.
