Smarter Security Optical Turnstile
Dec 20, 2007 9:40 AM
The GlassWing optical turnstile from Smarter Security Systems is an addition to the Fastlane product series. It includes ¼-in. tailgate detection with angel-wing style glass barriers that recess into the pedestals for authorized personnel. Each turnstile lane includes a microprocessor that is programmed with advanced neural network algorithms. The algorithms allow the turnstiles to catch intruders attempting to sneak into a building while ignoring non-human objects such as briefcases, umbrellas and other objects that can trigger alarms. The turnstile blends into the fabric of attractive government and corporate lobbies to avoid a “mass transit” appearance. Visit smartersecurity.com.
