The Security Knowledge Manager (SKM) 2.4 open-architecture software from videoNEXT stores and manages video from an unlimited number of digital IP cameras. Users can view live and archived camera images from a browser-based interface and use a virtual joystick capability to pan, tilt and zoom cameras remotely. The images are viewed and adŽministered remotely via the user network or securely via the Internet. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption ensures the security of the system. Other features include alarm tracking and triggers, video motion detection, video date sorting, intelligent video recording, automatic archiving, password protection and a multi-layered credential management system. The system currently supports cameras by Sony, Axis Communications, XView, Canon, Lumenera, IQinVision, Panasonic, Toshiba, FLIR Systems, Pelco, Mango, Cohu, and Covi Technologies.
